Sonotech Partnership — October Breast Cancer Month

100 Women
100 Screenings

In partnership with Sonotech Medical and Diagnostic Center, we are removing financial and geographic barriers to give life-saving diagnostic services to women in Ghana.
With your support, we are funding 100 free mammograms for women in high-need communities.

How Your Donation Breaks Barriers:

  • Every dollar you give goes directly to clinical services.
  • $50 sponsors a mammogram and a follow up.
  • Any Amount Makes a Difference: Gifts of $10, $25, or whatever you can give ensures no woman is turned away due to financial constraints.
Sponsor a Mammogram

Your donation covers the full cost of a mammogram, diagnostic follow-up, and ultrasound care for a woman who would otherwise go without.

General Manager, Sonotech Medical & Diagnostic Center

"Our findings across the clinics make it clear that while diagnostic tools exist, the financial barrier is the single largest hurdle keeping women from early detection. In partnering with True Sisters Worldwide, our goal is to bridge this gap, ensuring that every woman who receives an initial screening can also access the vital follow-up mammograms and ultrasounds that save lives."
2025 Campaign Findings

922 Women Left in Limbo

Out of the women screened, 922 required advanced diagnostic procedures (mammograms or ultrasounds) following initial findings. However, due to economic barriers, the majority could not proceed with testing—even with discounted campaign rates.

Critical Follow-up Required

Limited Free Screenings

While partner support funded 25 free mammograms during the campaign, this met only a tiny fraction of the need. The final medical reports explicitly recommended increasing resource allocations for free diagnostic imaging in all future campaigns.
