100 Women
100 Screenings
Removing financial and geographic barriers to give life-saving diagnostic services to women in Ghana. In partnership with Sonotech Medical and Diagnostic Center, we are funding 100 free mammograms for high-need communities.
The Diagnostic Gap
Sonotech's network-wide diagnostic campaign revealed an urgent, critical demand for follow-up breast cancer screenings and diagnostic services.
922 Women Left in Limbo
Out of the women screened, 922 required advanced diagnostic procedures (mammograms or ultrasounds) following initial findings. However, due to economic barriers, the majority could not proceed with testing—even with discounted campaign rates.
Limited Free Screenings
While partner support funded 25 free mammograms during the campaign, this met only a tiny fraction of the need. The final medical reports explicitly recommended increasing resource allocations for free diagnostic imaging in all future campaigns.
Leadership Voices

Dominic Kulariba
General Manager, Sonotech Medical & Diagnostic Center
"Our findings across the clinics make it clear that while diagnostic tools exist, the financial barrier is the single largest hurdle keeping women from early detection. In partnering with True Sisters Worldwide, our goal is to bridge this gap, ensuring that every woman who receives an initial screening can also access the vital follow-up mammograms and ultrasounds that save lives."

Critical Locations
West Hills and Swedru emerged as key regions with distinct, urgent needs for immediate breast cancer diagnostics support.
West Hills Clinic
West Hills recorded high overall volume and the network's most critical follow-up requirement rates, indicating intense demand for advanced clinical diagnostic support.
Conversion Ratio
Approx. 6 out of every 10 women screened required advanced diagnostic imaging.
Swedru Clinic
Serving mostly rural communities, the Swedru branch highlighted the critical necessity of bringing mobile screening services and financial support directly to underserved rural regions.
Underserved Reach
The majority of patients came from rural and farming communities surrounding Swedru.
Sponsor 100 Mammograms
Your support directly targets the financial and geographic barriers identified in the West Hills and Swedru networks. A donation covers the full cost of a mammogram, diagnostic follow-up, and ultrasound care for a sister who would otherwise go without.
How Your Donation Breaks Barriers:
- Frees Women from Out-of-Pocket Expenses: Provides full diagnostic cover so no woman has to walk away from care due to costs.
- Powers Rural Reach: Funds mobile diagnostic runs out to the rural populations in the Swedru outskirts.
- Secures Advanced Imaging: Funds breast ultrasounds and mammograms for the 60% of screened women in West Hills requiring advanced diagnostics.
